You know who writes apps like these? Government Shell companies who can ready whatever they want, when they want.

Anyone naive enough to think their electronic communications are safe from surveillance via services and apps like this is really unaware of the state of the art.

Once again we see why armed SRO’s and those with arrest powers do not belong in the education environment.

This was a school disciplinary issue, not a criminal activity. The fat that this administrator is unable to tell the difference makes her unfit for her current position.

It’s Louisiana.

This state holds the record for the second highest number of lynchings in America; and last year Baton Rouge police shot and killed an unarmed black man on video and were not indicted.

There’s not shock in this behavior by one o the entitled.

Thank God.

This kid needs a good lawyer; and the judge clearly recognizes something is off with the whole situation- no jail; no GPS tether; no home arrest and minimal bail.

The judge also got the prosecutor to admit that the officers chose to park their vehicle out of view of the House and shine flashlights through the window

We’ll know the truth if the officers were wearing body cams.

We’ll also know the truth if somehow the video is ‘missing’ or the cameras weren’t turned on.

Subtle.

If you ask for verification it means the credit reporting agency must provide to you the information to confirm the debt. As the law is written they are not allowed to contact the business that claimed the debt, nor have any contact with them during a claim verification.

If they cannot produce the verification

Sounds like the ‘doctor’ is trying to drum up some business...

Very few American workers can afford the luxury of volunteerism in the time between jobs, since unemployment insurance by design does not provide you the same level of income as when you work.

I genuinely feel your pain. I once made the mistake in the back country of leaving my boots near the fire overnight. The next morning I had a boot and a piece of charcoal.

Luckily I had made some moccasins from a Tandy leather kit for camp shoes and I hiked out on those. Some folks we passed on the trail asked why I

Pet Peeve: I hate the term ‘Bug-Out Bag’. Like I’m really going to abandon my family and friends. I’ll stick with 72-Hour Bag or EDC.

These all seem to have a Rinzai flavor to me.

If there is ever a revision of Ben Rich’s ‘The Skunk Works’, this story needs to be added to it along with the others.

All good points; I’ve watched several of his gear reviews as well. Occasionally they’re a little too rah-rah for me.

In Bear Country I carry a S&W 629 short barrel .44 with factory magnaporting to keep down the weight. Otherwise I typically carry a cheapie Taurus 9mm for EDC when I’m out. I don’t care about keeping it

That was one thing. Most of that Bear Gryll’s stuff is not full tang, so the handles tend to break under pressure. There were other thing like three pairs of gloves; no light weight binoculars ( a must in SAR) and that ridiculous flushlugger spotlight.

If you’re out in the field enough you get crazy about weight and

Let’s just make the call here- this is a novice attempt at an SAR load-out.

It’s unnecessarily redundant in several cases and makes some equipment choices that pros have already ruled as inferior after field testing in other venues. It has some pretty glaring omissions and seems to be designed around ‘what if’

Same here.
