Ni no Kuni

Best Retro Re-Release Of 2013's First Half

Best Ni no Kuni

A no brainer? Oh I think not. You forget Ni No Kuni came out in January. Or you didn't care. One of those, but it's my pick for best of the first half.

You can choose how you act in the game, but should you choose to be 'good,' you'd still be using powers that arguably cross the line.

As a devoted Half-Life fan, I have to say... Walk it off, bud.

I always made the joke we'd get DNF before HL3/HL2:E3 but now Im scared to make jokes like that :|

For those that don't understand, the reason the fans are so desperate for ANYTHING regarding HL3 is because of two things:

Below

That's like asking why people buy Rokus when they can just watch tv because they already have it; and yet Roku has become massively popular. Ouya has the same (and more) capabilities as the Roku, and it is competitively priced. Ouya definitely doesn't have wide appeal, and I won't defend it as a contender against an

I think the 'binary view' the author is talking about is in regards to the fact that success = fun and failure = not fun. I think the author has a good point in posing the question, 'How can we make losing more fun?', and then introduces several games where success = fun and failure = fun as well.

I bought it for the Ouya Store. I love indie games. Ive 200 games in my steam library and over half of them are indies from sales, humble bundles, and the like.

Did I plan to play emulators? sure. But I equally planned to play Ouya games, and so far thats what Ive done the most with it. And yes, I sideloaded XMBC on it almost immediately because I was tired of hooking up my laptop to the TV whenever I wanted to watch video files. Also sideloaded Netflix because my blu ray

"RPGs have to have exploration and a feeling of being alive to them" is the worst excuse I've ever heard about XIII. That's not criticizing the game for what it does wrong, but for what it never even tries to do/be in the first place. It's just not that kind of game, at all, and even then I felt it was plenty alive if

It's true. I've picked up Xenoblade, TLS and most recently Ni No Kuni which are games many have labeled the best JRPG's of this generation and to be brutally honest none of them are as immersive or as much fun as Final Fantasy XIII was. Of course that is just my opinion, but I feel like many of the FF haters are just

Interesting, it seems like he is trying to say that games are developed according to creativity and passion instead of being cold business decisions. This is something you expect to hear out of Indie devs more than a massive publisher. I don't think the majority of the industry works this way however.

Final Fantasy XII used to be my favorite game in the series, and then XIII came along. XIV isn't half bad either for an MMO. If XV is at least as good as XIII, then I'll have pretty much 150% solidified my beliefs that all of the Square haters are just whiners who have nothing better to do.

I don't understand the people saying this is too pricey. Maybe for a handheld, but this is a powerful tablet, too, if I understand the features correctly. There is no tablet this powerful that costs this little. The features and capabilities command a $500 price tag, at least.

I saw the Shield in action at CES. The Tegra 4 games it runs look like high end vita titles, not angry birds, like everyone seems to think. And it's a very niche feature, but I would love having the ability to play my PC games on a handheld in my bedroom while my PC is in the office, and that alone is almost worth
