Interesting, it seems like he is trying to say that games are developed according to creativity and passion instead of being cold business decisions. This is something you expect to hear out of Indie devs more than a massive publisher. I don't think the majority of the industry works this way however.

Did you not read the announcement? You can stream PC games to the handheld, they even have a demo showing it running the full Steam Big Picture UI!

This thing is a dream device.

If everything was extremely hard all the time the game would take forever and not be any fun. If it was easy all the time the game would lose your interest and not be any fun. Hence: Boss battles!

Nintendo can choose if they want to bring certain games or not, regardless if they were designed in house. Your logic would apply equally to Xenoblade and TLS (which is why I mentioned them specifically in the OP), and we all know how those games turned out for them.
