It is scary to see how Nintendo handles third party games. Fans have to literally beg for games like Xenoblade and The Last Story and even when they sell extremely well nobody at NOA even takes the slightest hint.

I am not even going to get into the whole DRM thing, or the fact that you can't play games like Far Cry 3 and Mass Effect 3 on Steam and there is no Big Picture equivalent. Or even the fact that all your friends still play on Xbox Live, and very few actually have PC's that can play games as well as 7 year old consoles.

I also have a gaming laptop, and although it sounds stupid I have to say that it is really annoying to have to plug it into the TV/AC every time I want to use it and unplug it when I need to take it out. Not to mention I have to go up to it and set it up the game before I can actually use my controller from my couch.

It sounds like you only played the first few hours of the game. The "theme" has nothing to do with racism, its more about fear of the unknown. Lightning also turns out to be an awesome protagonist, along with the rest of the crew.

Sorry that was a little harsh. People are willing to pay more for games on consoles than on the PC, not to mention the higher development costs for console releases. That's like saying paying for Black Ops or Halo is stupid because you can get Black Mesa for free.

By the way the rumored "anti-used game" mechanism has already been released with the WiiU. Its called "Digital Deluxe Promotion" they give you a tiny discount while you lose the ability to sell or let anyone borrow the game after you purchase it. They also conveniently tie everything to the console, not your account.…
