If you amortize the amount due at signing over the 24 month term, plus the taxes (7% of new car value here in GA), this is a $550/mo lease. $0.66 per mile, plus gas and insurance. Not a very good deal.
Mother of God.... Why didn’t I think of this? Can’t wait to get off work.
If Russian tanks made it all the way to Iowa, then there are much larger problems at hand.
Little known fact: this is how the Forester was born.
I can’t tell you how much I disagree that using the term “autopilot” somehow implicates Tesla, as if the man wasn’t specifically trained, educated, and reminded on the limitations of the system. He was willfully and foolishly risking his life despite all warnings.
The definition of autopilot isn’t something that takes full control. That would be an autonomous car. Autopilot is something that reduces driver workload, like autopilot on an aircraft.
In a household of 2 girls under 10 and a smart, gorgeous wife, I’ve pretty much determined my main purpose as a father is to show my girls, very clearly, how a husband treats his wife. Love, respect, caring and compassion. I carry that courtesy along with me in the day to day, but it is especially important within the…
I recently drove scenic byway route 12 in southern Utah, I’d say this is a road many have never heard of but it is amazing from the hogback section to the nearly 10,000ft pass over boulder mountain stunning all around. This is a picture I took of a section just before the hogback section
I bought a cargo van to move cross-country. It was boring and white, so I had a couple friends use it as their canvas. They got a cool rolling billboard across the country, and I got something more fun than your typical construction van.
That’s an art car, not a shitty paintjob.
Actually, it looks about right. I did a quick google search. It would seem, even during Bob Barker’s tenure, they had something like 10-12 rows of people.
That background monitor area for Drew’s set might have eliminated a few people, but the general audience size seems relatively consistent. MAYBE a little smaller,…
Sometimes his tea goes cold and he wonders why he got out of bed that day.
“Over $1MM invested in this build, worth $20MM+, we know what we have, no lowballers or Palestinians. Bring a trailer.”
Clearly a hate crime. Just look at that graffiti.
I dunno, that seems a good way to be set up for life’s never-ending stream of disappointments.
I think your salesman was also BSing the frequency of Land Cruiser sales. If you could assume 1 per week is the average, and this represents the average Toyota dealer in the US, multiply 52 by the number of US Toyota dealerships, 1233. You’d get 64,116 LCs sold per year in the US.
“He never sells base models. He said that most of the time they are sold completely decked out which tops out at around $120,000.”
What is that dealer doing to them? There are literally 0 options on LCs from toyota other than colors. The most expensive “accessory” is $500 for remote start... seriously they charge you for a remote start accesory on an $80 vehicle.
Land Cruisers come loaded. That’s why they are so expensive. There are no real factory options. Not sure what your dealer was talking about - unless it’s dealer add-on gimmicks that are charged at 150% retail.
