At first I was pretty annoyed withyour first comment because the way you originally put it was insulting. But I do get what you're trying to say about being there emotionally for a female friend and then being there fully for your significant other. There could and probably would be emotional strain and I get that.

"Go on as many dates as you can. "

It is ok believe it or not I get what you are saying and agree with it. Most of human interactions are based on what we can get out of the interaction. With men (dealing with women) most the time we are considering Sex. It Isn't that we would not really be friends with her otherwise, it is just this is our motivation

No, they have only guy friends because they had trouble keeping women as friends. And that is a huge red flag on its own. They don't want to ALL the guys they hang out with, but chances are many of the guys want to fuck them and that's why they are friends. The ever possibility of taking the "friendship" to the next

Yes and no Doc. While it is totally possible for men to hold back their boner call, putting yourself in a situation where you might have to make a hard decision to do something you might regret, is never a good idea. Men and women can be friends, but if those people are in relationships outside of the friendship, and

Not 100% true no, but on a general level , yes. Yes it is.

Lady#1: Don't. He's keeping you on the back burner in case his primary relationship doesn't work out or they temporarily take a break. Next time his girlfriend gets mad at him or goes on a trip out of town, the first thing he'll do is send you a " 'sup?" text in the hopes that you still have enough of a crush on him

Truth. It's in this post.

Right. Heterosexual, cisgendered, happily married man in his 30's who definitely felt the, "Every girl's friend, no girl's boyfriend," shit in high school/college.

Sadly this morning I was hanging out at a red light, and then watched a cyclist ride right through. I was amazed he didn't get hit.

I think it means they met when she was 9, and now she's 11...

The funniest thing about the most ardent 2nd Amendment absolutists is the fact that for the vast majority of them, it's NEVER been about protection. For the most part, they just think guns are really fucking cool.

You know, I thought I HATED small little yappy dogs (as I so lovingly called them) but I totally-not-on-purpose adopted a chihuahua mix and, let me tell you, he is the best dog in the history of dogs - never barks, never had an accident, all around literally perfect. SO DO NOT BE SO QUICK TO SWIPE LEFT!

Obligatory, "if he dies, he dies." But, seriously, tapping out was the best option.

Oh I see results, they're just not as dramatic as I somehow expect them to be. I think that's partly a cultural thing- I don't even watch shows like The Biggest Loser but I definitely yearn for that before/after transformation. I sometimes think what we expect to gain from exercise is pretty exaggerated.

"Mom? Dad? I just read Howard Zinn's People's History of the United States for my Poli Sci 202 class. Prepare to have your fucking minds blown."
