I was just thinking about this thing the other day. This was one of my favorite childhood weapons! =)

"Here's the scoop—your hoggin' days are over. I'm baskin' in your pain, as I'm robbin' you of life."

As far as 'Superman-like' goes, don't forget this guy!

I was just telling my wife the other day that the first production company to say "screw it" and rise up to defeat the legacy of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within with a full-budget CGI film is going to make megabucks. Hell, the intro movies for some modern games are better than some actual feature-films!

Yes, but only if they leave Shepard out of it. You want to do Anderson and Saren? Fine. Some other story? Even better.

I haven't played a 2D RPG in ages, but so help me, this one I just might...

I rather thought he would sing The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins, myself...

I will do this for my own children (someday)! I didn't read The Lord of the Rings until I was in my 20s for that very reason!

That happened to us once too. We still laugh about it (I mean... it's the DISHWASHER!)

Ah, here's the quote (from the Star Citizen FAQ) that I was looking for:

It's possible, but I wouldn't count on it going to consoles, even the next-gen ones. Chris Roberts has made it pretty clear that he's a PC guy and that this is a PC game, since that's where he made his break way back in 1991.

I agree with everything posted here.

I really liked the first two. Was less a fan of Blood of the Fold (book 3). They definitely started downhill fast after 4, though. That would be the place to stop. =)

Temple of the Winds (SoT book 4) is still among my favorite books of all time. I didn't mind the Chainfire set... after Pillars I was just happy to see the characters again, but they weren't great, and I haven't picked up the new one. I even read his "I'm going away from fantasy and writing 'real' books" thriller, The

Wow... there are people who actually liked Legend of the Seeker? O.o

As I recall, the official explanation at the time was "well, it's getting good ratings, but only in the 30-45 female segment. We don't have nearly enough 18-45 males watching, so it's canned".

I'm confused. Is this actually going to be something, or is it just one of those "concept" trailers meant to show off an idea that never goes anywhere?

Those sounds at :38 and :47 sound familiar to anyone else? Yup, those are the DOOM doors!

Hey, Major Tom, this is ground control. Where ya been? =)

"I thought Neutrinos came from Dimension X."
