Most of Britain's newspapers are the exact opposite of excellent. Hopefully things will change when they finally succumb to regulation.

The only way I really deal with my depression is by intellectualising it. I think of it as an existential crisis, and let the thoughts develop from there. Does it make it go away? Not at all. But it just... It gives it meaning. It sucks.

Really, Kotaku?

But just saying it isn't entertaining doesn't really make any better a point than me saying over and over that it is entertaining. I found it entertaining.

One of those silly questions: why?

Well, it's the structural break down that makes Evangelion the watch it is. In its post-modernity, the ending fits perfectly well. I mean I could argue and argue the value of Evangelion, but you just didn't like it, and that's that. My point, really, is that just because you didn't like it doesn't mean it's bad.

I remember, in One Hour Photo, the kid actor pulls out an evangelion. I learned later that it was at the insistence of Robin Williams. What a hero: a famous lover of Evangelion. I believe he suffers from bipolar depression, I wonder if that made him relate to Evangelion at all.

A very good decision in the end.

I think it's about time Kotaku found a little balance on this issue. It's taken a near editorial line on being very critical of parents who've bought GTA V and other mature games for kids, how about you have someone from the other side of the argument write a piece now?

It looks amazing.

But his daughter isn't exposed to such things? She clearly has no understanding of the meaning of the word.

I'm a bit bored of Kotaku busybodies in the comment section, probably mostly in their early twenties, telling everybody else how to parent their kids, and lamenting how 'oh so detached parents are these days'. It's embarrassing.

Somewhat confused. Is this a parental advice article by a cashier? Top-tier stuff right there.

Yeah, I didn't say the argument was logical.

From the conversations I've had regarding GTA V on Kotaku, I'm surprised the commenters here aren't outraged mentally challenged people are even allowed to play GTA.

I agree. Has Kojima lost his balls? GTA V already has interactive water boarding and it blew me away. It was extremely powerful all the more so for being totally unexpected.

I think you just didn't put enough thought into your original comment.

Are you honestly suggesting we should all begin as a default with the presumption that everyone is psychologically impaired to a dangerous level?

Thanks very much. Glad to see someone read both sides of the argument.

I'm pretty happy with my responses and the recommends they received. But thanks for the feedback. It'll definitely be taken into account.
