I think decorum absolutely demands that he wear the shirt. Except maybe we could get him one in a nice button-down, because he is the president and all, so tee-shirts are probably right out.

Replying to promote.

I flew home from London last night after a phenomenal vacation with my husband. We thought we saw everything there was to see, but now I find out we should have stayed another week! I would have loved to have seen this.

My Navy retiree husband has a hard time not beating the snot out of birther lunatics who assume must agree with them because he served in the military for 20 years.

Totally promoted because I just saw Wicked in London and Elfaba was the most awesome political activist EVER.

I invented the Post-It Note.

"As a Marine, I believe America is unique and based on a core set of principles that make it superior to other nations."

I actually burst into applause for them at the end, and then realized they couldn't see me. SO ADORABLE.

I'm one of those who doesn't get Tilda Swinton. I agree that she is incredibly talented, and I'll even agre that while I often think she looks odd, she has a very clear and interesting sense of style. I just can't deal with watching her movies because she seems so incredibly, phenomenally, overwhelmingly pretentious.

Fucking genius!

I have an acquaintance who got a MRSA infection on her labia. YIKES!

Eek—I've done that to quite a few patients (I'm a student nurse and will be an RN in two weeks). I'll have to remember to either explain to them that it's just a precaution or wait to throw it away until I'm out of their room. I apologize for scaring you on behalf of that ER doctor!

My anatomy textbook from nursing school has a nearly identical picture in it to illustration how baby teeth and adult teeth fit together in the skull, and it is my absolutely favorite picture in the entire book—it's so incredibly creepy and disturbing to know that kind of freakishness was in my personal head at one

Ack! I didn't see this until I got home from my trip, or we totally would have! We had an amazing time and saw EVERYTHING. It was glorious.

My husband and I are going to London TODAY to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary! If I see Adele wandering around Trafalgar Square, I am going to LOSE MY SHIT.

But why? Is there something inherently unhealthy about continuing to do what has always been the most comforting, happy part of your life?

My husband did. No, he didn't breastfeed, obviously, but he carried our kids in baby carriers all over the place, snuggled with them when they were crying, bathed them and fed them baby food, and did basically everything else he could. (Neither of us wanted to co-sleep—we used a sidecar for the first few months, and

Like LaComtesse, my kids could stand at eight months old. So yeah, they stood and nursed.

I have lots of friends who do extended breastfeeding, but none of them did it with more than two kids, an infant and a toddler. And I'm not sure what you mean by "older children need more food." You know that the older kid eats regular food, right? They are breastfeeding for comfort, not nutrition, basically, which
