Hardly surprising at this point. A shame, it has some really good games on it, but its time seems to have indeed almost passed now. I just hope we get some details on the new one soon...

They delay games, they’ve cancelled games before. The current consoles are still missing features they promised around launch if I recall correctly. In a recent update on my PS4, I can finally appear offline. Still can’t use my own pictures for backgrounds and such.

We live and learn, Wii U has some great games. Pity it may not see many more though :(

For me? The Wonderful 101, Super Mario 3D World, Wind Waker HD (Never got to finish GC version, was stolen) Mario Kart 8, ZombiU, Pikmin 3 and Wii Party U.

Good thing when I bought the Wii U, it’s because of the games it had already out. I never buy a console at launch, always wait for between 4-6 games to come out and hear they are good that I want, and then get the machine.

Never buy a console based on games that aren’t out. Buy one once enough games are out that you want to play on it. It’s what I did with the Wii U and while it sucks about this Zelda title, I have had plenty of awesome games to play that were out when I got the machine. Mine was the Amiga 500 (it played games, it counts) and that was a blast. You got a really great one to start on too, I had a lot of awesome times on mine too :)

Where have you got all this information from? Because you’re stating this like it’s fact, when we don’t know much about it. This is just what you suspect will happen from what you’re saying.

As long as games for the base version of the system don’t run like crap compared, just miss out on some visuals etc, I’m okay with it. It’s essentially an upgrade for those with 4k tv’s I assume to make use of their tv for gaming, or am I misunderstanding?

Had fun in the last weekend beta, finally got to play.

They finally get an open beta, only for the weekend, but still. I finally get to play this game, and see if it’s for me :D

I really wish devs wouldn’t focus on maxxing out the visuals. I was hoping for better performance than 30 fps to be honest, but thanks for the info.

Ah, so it’s good I played it. Had some serious performance drops though. Hope the game itself isn’t like that.

I believe that’s the case. Deadpool by High Moon Studios was taken off steam for a while, I got it on a sale, downloaded it after they took it down. Access to buy is gone, but access to the game you bought already is still there, at least on steam.
