I was gonna wait on the PS5, but the pre-launch trade in values were just too good! I got $225 for my PS4 Pro back in September at Best Buy, figuring I could use the credit I got (over $400 with controllers, games, etc.) Little did I realize it would be frickin’ impossible actually compete with bots and everybody else

I used to buy consoles at launch. I had SIX red rings on my launch Xbox 360. I vowed never to buy a console at launch again. Minimum six month wait for me.

To be clear to anybody that is interested, this is the laptop “Max Q” version of the 2070. It’s still a great system, but it’s not as powerful as a full 2070, but probably more in the range of 1070ti range. Again, this is still amazing for a laptop.

This feels like a cash grab. I’ll wait for the true remasters on the 40th anniversary. In the meantime I think emulation is the way to go for these games. (I do own physical copies of each so have no problem with this).

Any word on how Game Pass will synergize with EA Access? When I click on FIFA on Game Pass will it automatically open the EA desktop app to play or play directly through Game Pass?

It seems like Origin has been ignored for years now anyway. The client is clunky and the UI never seems to scale correctly with my desktop monitor settings. It always looks low res. I don’t hate origin per se, but it just never gave me a reason to come back to it when I wasn’t playing EA games.

I love game pass, but I have a gaming PC with a 2070 RTX, i9 and NVME. It won’t be quite as good as the XSeX, but I’m guessing it will be close enough for me, and with game pass PC I still get all the games. PS5 then for me simply because the XSeX just seems redundant for my particular situation.

I’m fine with this, with one condition. If games can’t play well on the original switch than just make them exclusive to this new switch. Nintendo did a crappy job with their “New 3DS” in this regard with some games (Hyrule Warriors in particular) being almost unplayable on older 3DS units. If I have to upgrade to

Haha. I’m not saying I will be playing it exclusively on Stadia, but some people will. Conker makes a good point above as well with Steam Link.

I mean considering this game is one of Stadia’s biggest releases of the year, and many of those people will be playing on phones, it makes sense.

When this happens my mind jumps to justification: “Oh you’re leaving!? Well you can’t leave, because I just uninstalled you! I was never gonna play/finish you anyway. Get out”.

YES. I remember watching Ep 3 and being like “am I supposed to know who this dude is?” There is no explanation of his character whatsoever, and for some reason he has a ton of lightsabers!? I thought it was just really bad writing or something, which to me was the most likely explanation at the time.

My daily routine of claiming free digital games is starting to become unhealthy. Between Twitch Prime, EPIC, GOG, Humble, UPlay, etc. I honestly think I’m approaching 1,000 free PC games at this point. Just finished playing Watch Dogs 2 recently and played all through Yukalaylee Impossible Lair before that. 0$ spent.

Do you think it’s possible to put my purchase of Star Citizen in my will for my grandchildren one day? I don’t want that $35 to go to waste.

I wasn’t as concerned by the graphics as I was by the possible “Ubisoftification” of Halo. I really really hope Halo doesn’t turn into Far Cry: Halo. If they are going more open world I’m hoping that each pip on that map is a relatively unique experience and not just a checklist item.

Do we know for sure this is a full sequel? Could it be an expansion as well?

Way to troll every single person watching this live video! That’s the sound of millions of people saying “oh shit it’s GTA 6!” before the sad realization kicks in that it’s just GTA 5 again.

STOP! Gosh. Let me discover things on my own. Ugh.

Geez watch the spoilers! I never would have guessed the chosen one thing. Thanks for ruining it.

Nice! Glad they updated it. That phrase wasn’t in the initial announcement. I guess enough people were asking that question.
