Yeah. I think people see it as some sort of existential threat to games. I mean I guess this always happens with new technology. My father still has a flip phone for instance. “I just want a phone that makes calls!”

That’s a super specific date. What happens in January 19th? Also are we talking January 19th, 2020?

I’m confused by the 4k blu ray drive comment. Is this confirmation that PS5 will play UHD blu rays? PS Pro does not.

That is a great take! I didn’t think about how the release quantity and quality on the Switch effects the zeitgeist.

Man I was just asking this exact question yesterday. I have co-workers (who I know for a fact make about the same salary as me) with these brand new F-150s or Silverados. I’m not in debt and I have great credit, but when I look at the cost of one of those I’m baffled by how they are able to make that work financially.

Is that a mozzarella stick or some kind of chicken tender in last gif? Looks delicious.

I feel like Mario Maker 2's spotlight was super short this year. Mario Maker captured the imagination of the gaming world for what seemed like months in 2015, but 2 just kinda came and went. No joke, I forgot I bought it until I was browsing through my Switch games yesterday.

It’s kind of amazing he didn’t get injured on that play. I was watching NESN broadcast live and I thought he was going to break his back when I saw him going up for that catch. And then to turn and somehow brace his foot against the wall? Really incredible.

Any word yet on how easy it is to add games to Genesis Mini?

If any day is going to be a video game holiday it should be black friday. That has consistently been the one day for me each year (even as an adult) where I just play video games for hours and hours.

Weird. I guess they don’t want to spoil it for those Borderlands story fans? Wouldn’t want to give away their dick and fart jokes or all of their overused stereotypes ahead of time.

Exactly. To be clear, I am not trying to tell other people how they should enjoy Borderlands. I just personally don’t enjoy the inventory aspects of the series at all.

THIS. I know they tout the “gazillion guns” thing but honestly I’d rather have like 100 guns that feel good to shoot. Also, there are SO many junk weapons that I feel as though I spend more time in my inventory junking bad guns then I do actually playing the game.

I thought penalty kicks had to be a natural motion? Is that just not called anymore?

Dude it’s one year. You can sign with the Yankees in 2020.

I worked as a driver for Pizza Hut when I was in high school. My first day I wasn’t able to train with a driver (he was hungover and missed work) so they had me prep the pan pizzas instead. This consisted of squirting 3 huge pumps of oil into a pan and then dropping a small frozen disc of dough into that pan. Over the

Nah. Don’t touch anything and take plenty of pictures so the cops can see everything as is just in case.

I’d rather just have Janet and Derek make all of the sims.

Well said. This article has also made me play through Symphony again as well. Forgot how amazing this game is. The animation of everything is SO good.

Well said. I completely agree with the concept of letting people celebrate. I thought that a “pop-off” always had some sort of implied violent or confrontational component. But if these are just extreme cases of something that isn’t inherently an unhealthy outburst then that makes more sense. Thanks!
