So Sonic won’t be the only one getting rings on that day!

I’m conflicted. I want to believe the Bioware employees that say that are still committed to this game, but that is what people always say right up to the point where they admit that a game is dead. I don’t blame them, they probably do genuinely want to make the game work, and can’t fully admit to us that the game is…
I actually had some dissonance for different reasons. It was weird to be doing a sidequest where I’m playing bocce ball with some farmers instead of FIGHTING AT BUNKER HILL. It was a weird mix of fun, goofy sidequests and world-changing main quests.
Completely agree. Connor looks more badass than any other assassin to date in my view. The assassin tomahawk is just super badass as well.
Totally agree. Although I do think that later games (AC:III, Black Flag, Rogue, Syndicate) perhaps went too far in the direction of instant kills. By the time Syndicate came along I felt like my characters were just superhumans that could dive into a group of 20 bad guys and dispatch them all untouched. It was…
All great points. Maybe at the end of the day it’s just not my kinda genre then. Whatever the case, I hope they have a dope inventory system.
Are you saying I should try not to pick up loot? I’m not sure my muscle memory would even allow me to do that. :)
Exactly. I guess I just don’t enjoy inventory management in games in general, and I always felt like I was having to clear stuff out of my inventory in BL2. For me personally, the less time I spend in menus the better.
Any sense of how inventory works? I feel like my biggest gripe with BL1 & 2 was the constant need to manage the crappy guns that I kept picking up. The “gazillion guns” thing was both a blessing and a curse for those games.
That’s super helpful. Thank you! I was also able to get into the Google beta with AC: Odyssey and was blown away by how responsive and clear everything was. It was the first cloud service that made me forget that I was playing a game through the cloud, and it looked way better than my PS4 Pro version even.
You mentioned the latency being an issue. Is it any better now since it launched? I think I last tried PS Now back in 2015 and even with a gigabit connection it wasn’t perfect.
I’m sure this current convenience will fade as we all navigate the "standard switch/switch pro" madness later this year. Ugh. I'm not looking forward to the inevitable "certain features only work on switch pro" messages.
Amen. If refs can't get call right without slo-mo why are we even still using humans at all?
Jason did you have any issue with input lag on this collection? Digital Foundry is saying that it is egregious to the point where some of the games are unplayable.
Well they are coming out of the gate with Doom: Eternal, a game that crucially relies on fastpaced action and perfect controls. So we will know quickly if it doesn’t work for that kind of game.
You can play Spelunky on Vita. That’s all I really need to say.
I thought the exact same things. I know for a fact you could use bushes to hide. Maybe now it's just like more snappy?
I can never tell what a foul even is in basketball.
This article was written for me. I do have one problem that I run into consistently that is a bit more tricky. I don’t really care about having the best or latest gear, but sometimes in live games (like Destiny or Division) I can’t play with my friends unless I keep up. I missed a few weeks of playing in Destiny 2 and…
I think we need to expand the "don't pre-order games" policy to "don't play live games in the first 6 months".
