Same here!! :( :( I love his writing and artwork. Finished Book 3 a few weeks ago.

YES!! My brother has been fairly vocal about this lately, and I'm really beginning to agree with this line of thinking too. It's also pretty awesome that a politician feels the same way. It just feels so...reasonable.

I LOVE Legend of Korra. Also my sister, for pointing at the screen and saying, "She's racially ambiguous and has an attitude, just like you!"

Same. Why do they HAVE to be looking all "sporty" all the time? People are multi-dimensional.

Love love love this.

This is off topic, but it always irritated me that as a person of color, I could never play a white person. Like I would never be able to portray a (major) European Renaissance character, or a Victorian British person.

"Silent But Deadly" aka an inaudible but heinous fart.

oh dear...just checked my flight plans for July...why didn't I read these comments BEFORE booking with Delta???

Sometimes I really hate the whole race=color=ethnicity thing going on these days. Race is deeply subjective and pretty much made up. Babies being able to tell the difference between skin colors doesn't carry the loaded language that race does. This article kind of touches on it, but I would rather just do away with

This. All of it. And any time #7 is an issue, JUST WALK AWAY! I say this to everyone who fights with guys about this (or guys who have to fight with women; it's happened). If they want to have sex, they'll manage it.

I have the same attitude! I'm (dad-caribbean indian, mom-hispanic/white) and whenever I have friends that display racist or ignorant views I can't help but wonder how they don't get that it applies to me. We have black relatives, asian, etc.

I get that, but the whole point of this is that by singling out groups it takes away from the multicultural view of history. History is filled with people of different races, but it doesn't get taught. And by singling out individuals by race we're all only perpetuating the White=American viewpoint. By making

Spmetimes when I hear about things like this, and the backlash, I wonder why not? Maybe "American History" would stop being "White History" if we stopped making it that way. This is all just me talking, and probably going to get some backlash, but if we had a "white history month" a "latino history month" a "black

I hate stories like this. Even my own sorority has been kicked off of other campuses because of hazing, and then they have the nerve to call us "paper" members because we don't haze at my school. I am anti-hazing in every way, especially emotional. SO MANY GIRLS get overzealous and try to make pledges "earn" their

I feel like you're getting a lot of heat for words that you didn't actually string together. What I read was-people have their own vices, and how can we throw stones when we all live in glass houses. I agree with a lot of what you said. There IS a health problem across the board in this country, with multiple

I follow Cassey Ho at blogilates.com This isn't a plug for her or anything but she's very positive about getting fit, losing weight, etc. and has free pilates videos on youtube. I totally get the food being a comfort, because it is for me too, but ever since I started checking out Blogilates I've actually started

My sister in law is from Kyrgyzstan, and before she married my brother we went to visit her. While I was there she brought up the topic, which I had heard only a little about. I tried the, "But that doesn't really happen a lot, right? Like you don't know anyone who's been married that way...?"
