I agree 100% with the above posters. I was very satisfied with the ending, The only surprise or twist was that there wasn't any for the ending. It wrapped up the loose ends it needed to without pulling any punches or trying for the (M Night styled) twist.

Completely agree, this is exactly what I've been telling people. This is traditional storytelling. We're getting the falling action that is so often ommited from series finales in favor of statement-making twist endings. I truly appreciate that they gave us closure.

The difference is you likely weren't called 'thing,' or 'it.' Two terms that completely remove the humanity form a person. Not only that but this happened in a situation where she did not expect it to happen, as you might at a comedy club.

Not a bad idea. I thought Sleeping Dogs took a good first step in this regard too, with a visual representation showing up in world pointing the direction you need to turn according to your waypoint.
