Build ups to endings are almost always more interesting than endings themselves. This is why modern writers either fail completely to deliver a good ending, or they end directly at the climax.

Where is it stated that they were speaking in German? English has a very different connotation for the word 'it,' especially when it refers to a person. If the conference was in German then I will retract my statement about its use.

What would be interesting is for them to invade while your main team is off on a mission. At least, early on, you tend to have a lot of rookies stationed at home. Could make you think twice about that approach and prioritize leaving behind a few vets when you're off on mission.
The difference is you likely weren't called 'thing,' or 'it.' Two terms that completely remove the humanity form a person. Not only that but this happened in a situation where she did not expect it to happen, as you might at a comedy club.
All the more reason that GTAV could have "borrowed," these elements. I've not played Just Cause 2 or Saints Row 3 though, so you'll have to forgive my ignorance. :-)
Not a bad idea. I thought Sleeping Dogs took a good first step in this regard too, with a visual representation showing up in world pointing the direction you need to turn according to your waypoint.
The A-10 is one of my absolute favorite air-crafts of all time. Were I to rate it, I'd give it a 10!
