If you scroll through that dude’s responses, he outright says he doesn’t mind actual political or philosophical views in games— just issues of gender, race or sexual orientation.

This is what the virtual console should have been from the start.

This seems really interesting. I’ll keep an eye on it as develops.

You can get a lot of very decent tablets for under $200, assuming you’re only looking to use it for video and non-demanding games. I think the Galaxy Tab 2 goes for a little over a hundred dollars.

If there’s a new Smash Bros coming out any time soon, I’d expect it to be a port rather than a new game.

Glad I pre-ordered mine this morning.

I’ve never carried a 3DS (or any other handheld console) in my pocket. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone do it.

I saw photos of that tweet and assumed it was a parody. Dear god.

I’m slightly ashamed to admit that I didn’t get the joke until I saw Crackdown 3 on the list.

One W88 warhead (of which the U.S. is estimated to possess almost 400) is capable of exploding with a force of 475 kilotons. One missile can fit 12 of these warheads. One missile can therefore bring a rain of hellfire packing a 5,700 kiloton punch onto one city-sized spot of Earth.

Awesome post, and congratulations to DistractedElf.

For real though, Junkrat and Roadhog are totally banging.

Like Gita said below, I also recommend trying it with a controller. After struggling with it for days, I only got the hand of it when I switched to my Xbox 360 controller.

Those flashing light effects make me feel queasy 0_o

This scene obviously takes place in 2018 Washington D.C.

....huh. Actually that would be pretty interesting, particularly if the game cold-opened with her already on the revenge mission and you didn’t find out until like halfway through.

I’m guessing the Fireflies attack the survivor camp they returned to at the end of the first game, although even that doesn’t seem to account for how furious Ellie seems.

The framing of that shot is definitely interesting. The way Link is framed kneeling and off to the side seems to deliberately depict him as less central to the plot, as though he’s not really the main character.

This update really drives home more than ever the fact that this should have been a $15-30 early access release instead of a full $60 console game.
