Gah, that sucks!

Eh. My apartment came with a microwave already installed above the stove, so I had no need to buy one. I think that's pretty common. We also have a toaster oven that we got as a wedding present and it's awesome, but it takes up a lot of space on the counter. If I was going to pick between them I'd prefer the toaster

Interesting. Hadn't thought of it that way but I suppose it could be some sort of ploy like that. :/

I recall reading that she would prefer the death penalty to life in prison and to die sooner rather than later. I'm opposed to the death penalty, too, but I feel like if it's on the table a prisoner should be able to choose it and bypass the appeals.

I was in middle and high school in the mid-2000s and they weren't really cool then, either. I never went to prom because the earlier dances I had been to were so boring. I don't feel deprived, either. I got to have the experience of picking a dress, getting it tailored, having hair and make-up done professionally, and

I remember when I first started to identify as asexual at 16, no one had heard of that, either. I wouldn't have if I hadn't been active on AVEN. I think demisexuality will get there with time. It just requires people to be open about it. I was open about my asexuality and try to be open about demisexuality and about

I so know that feeling. I turned out to be demisexual and am now married, but I identified as asexual at 19. One thing I did was to be completely open about my asexuality to potential dating partners. It limits the pool significantly, but in a good way. It weeds out those who are unwilling to wait for at even a little

Haha! I only found out because my university was going to try to build a dorm that was co-ed even within rooms, but cancelled it because of legal concerns about violating the cohabitation law. It's so bizarre! And I'm pretty sure not really actually enforced.

My parents were 16 when they started dating, but they waited until 23 to get married. They just reached their 31st anniversary.

We had sex about 2 months in, once I was in love with him (long story short, I'm demisexual and wasn't really attracted until then). It was my first time and his second. I practically lived in his dorm room for the rest of that year, then we got an apartment together and lived together illegally (because cohabitation

I agree. How should I know where I'm going to live in 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? I feel a need to be geographically flexible with the job market as it is.

My brother is 21 and is 5'10" and 115 lbs. He eats a lot and what you'd pretty much expect college students that age eat like. When there was a Burger King on our campus he'd eat there nearly every day. But even when he lifted weights three times a week with me and my husband, he wasn't gaining weight. He jokes that

Yeah. I know mine genuinely wasn't intending to hurt me, just thought this was how to play. When I screamed "ouch!" really loud, she ran away, then came back a few minutes later seeming really concerned, sniffing me, etc.

It says I still have a month and 22 days. I got married 7 months ago. Haha! (yes, the median age my married friends got married at was 24.2. However, most of my friends aren't married yet.)

We met in a class in our freshman year of college. We started hanging out together through a common friend. I don't think it's that weird, I guess.

The good side of today: visiting my best friend, who I haven't seen since my wedding six months ago, where she was maid of honor

There are some decent Italian places in Tampa, Sarasota, etc. if you go to local places. They tend to not be as visible though i.e. holed away in some corner of a shopping center, instead of having their own lot like Olive Garden does.
