The Firebird silhouette was fairly sportscar classic. What made this model really become dated fast was the details and the proportions. @Electro Gyrocator: That, and looking it up on the internets, seeing and reading about the Vitz/Yaris. I've since driven a Yaris in Europe, and while it's not better than say a VW Polo, it was way better than a friend of mine's Echo. It had more personality and didn't feel like a penality box.

When I got Gran Turismo 4, one of the first cars I bought new and poored money into tuning was the Toyota Vitz. It really was a Great little car to race, and I couldn't understand why Toyota didn't sell it here in the U.S. Then one day I saw an Echo and made the connection. I love the idea of this, but from a design standpoint, it's a fail.
