Sorry to hear that. Looks like the bitter part way outweighs the sweet part in this case.

Your use of "bequeathed" implies (in the legal sense of the term) that your dad is deceased (which I hope is not the case), in whcih case he may have trouble opening the link.
Yes it sure did (less HP but more TQ):
Agree 100%. I had a 1982 pre-HO Camaro (LG4) and it was sick (not the good kind). Here is the 1982-1983 HP Breakdown:
My 1982 Z28 had a four speed manual Saginaw transmission, which was the stoutest part of the entire drivetrain. The Borg-Warner T-5 five speed replaced the Saginaw units from 1983 on. The vast majority of 3rd generation Z28's came with auto transmissions, so my '82 was a rare car. I don't miss it though.
Same thing goes for Pontiacs and Holdens. People having one want the emblems of the other
"Ford dead in Ohio" (too soon?)
I had one just like that . . .
There are a few aftermarket mods available for the early-80's crossfire setups:
Pontiac 301Turbo found in 1980-1981 Trans Ams (from Wikipedia):
Volvo B204 multivalve engine found in Volvo 740/780/940/960's (from Wikipedia):
That price is so nice that I flipped my merkin
Kind of reminds me of when, back in the early '90's, a car dealership in Miami (where else?) was offering a free "car phone" with purchase of a new car.

I stand corrected. I guess now I'm never allowed to own one.
It's Lamborghini "Uracco"
I have something to trade for that car
Claim them fast before the copyright owners take them down.
Mmmm
I like your sui generis classifications, but regarding No. 6, it's "DeGeneres"
