You forgot Plastic Fantastic

Pic for those of you who didn't get the reference.

Is it called that because they put a 'gina in the hood?

Ford Shelby Cobra Concept.

Thank you for the COTD- it is extra special being mentioned along with one of the greatest rock songs of all time. Also, my last two COTDs have been Nigeria-related.

I have no sympathy for those who pay over MSRP for a car, no matter how desirable.

The question implies that it needs to be a factory-installed option. The Firehawk, as awesome as it is and while having been sold by dealerships, was an aftermarket package installed by SLP.

1988-1989 Mitsu Starion/Chrysler Conquest- Super Handling Package (SHP) - included electronically adjustable Tokico struts and wider (16 x 8-inch front, 16 x 9-inch rear) wheels and tires with 225/50VR16 and 255/45VR16 sizing, positively huge for a non-supercar of that era. Now who remembers THAT?

Wouldn't say that it's forgotten

Really Tom? The TTA package is forgotten? It was the fastest production car in 1989 and is mentioned pretty often on this site.

Amazing that Miami (where around half the license plates seem to be made from cardboard) didn't make this list.
