Disagree.  I’ve been to food halls all over, including the one in Lisbon featured in the picture, and they are hardly “sanitized” versions of anything.  They serve good local food.  I’m sure there are some misses, but for the most part, it’s a great opportunity to try several local dishes in one place.

This is in the Chicago suburbs - *most* of the area has restrictions on train horns, and they do not blow them unless there’s imminent danger.  Not sure about Mokena specifically, but I’ve lived relatively close to the RR tracks in various towns, and rarely hear horns.
