Great response! Do you want to see a great pitcher throw a 100mph fastball for 2 hours by himself? Do you want to see Usain Bolt run against himself? Do you want to see Peyton Manning throw 50 yard passes to no one for 2 hours? I know I don't. I want a competition.

It is called F1 RACING, not F1 DRIVING. Watching great driving is not enough to get me to turn on the TV 19 times a year.

Come to Nashville. I recently moved here from Chicago and these are by far the worst drivers I've seen. I've taken to recording my drives to record their behavior in case something happens...like I am in Russia!

But don't they need to sell one for that to happen?

That is not really a fair comparison. For example Chicago-St Louis on Amtrak is about 5 hours, by plane it is slightly over an hour. So that is one Amtrak trip for every 5 airline trips.
