That’s cool. I wasn’t saying anything against the SNES core, just pointing out that FPGA does not automatically equal hardware clone. If it was a clone, everything would work.

Your post also does nothing to argue against anything I said. Nothing I said requires being argued against, because the concepts are generally accepted by people that understand how this stuff works. I think you are looking for an argument where none exists.

I love my MiSTer, and have for the past year. Having said that, FPGA emulation/simulation is not, inherently, any more accurate than software emulation. MiSTer can be just as inaccurate as MAME, or less accurate than MAME.

The games actually play the way they are supposed to.

4k TVs are not expensive anymore. Pretty much all, if not 100%, of the TVs being sold in Walmart are 4k now.
