Luckily I've never had an internet outage, and we have some serious battery backups on all of our networking equipment (that usually outlast a power failure). Those hotspots seem like a really good idea, though!

Excellent article. I've been thinking about upgrading my lunchbox. I've been using a Batman lunchbox from Old Navy. Not a hipster, but it keeps my yogurt from being crushed and exploding. +1 for the Cyberman, too.
If I thought for a second those robotic mowers would work on my yard, I'd be begging them to take my money. Stupid grass.
I'll have to give this a try. I found out that you can also do this by e-mailing a PDF to your Kindle (using the e-mail address that you assign to the device) with the subject "convert". Seems to work pretty well, but I don't think the conversion is perfect.

I noticed last month that Comcast started charging me for the two little converter boxes that used to be free. Must be part of this...
