Right. Citations should be a supplement to the thesis or argument, not the centerpiece.

The idea is to be able to find sources that you can use to form an argument that is backed by research done by others, because doing all that research yourself would be expensive and tiresome.

I enjoy these sorts of articles because it helps me with introspection on the topic and comparison with my own experiences in the technology/gaming/development…

Married is definitely a solution, but lamenting on looking for a more “now” stop-gap solution lol. I’ve had friends take the marriage-so-someone-can-get-benefits solution though!

She’s just been going without insurance if her employer wasn’t already offering it and paying the fine, but I think with the new short-term plans being offered this fall, that may be a suitable option until a more permanent solution (marriage, like you noted) becomes available.
