LOL, please. They are faux-hipsters (I'm looking at you, Westbrook).

I had it stolen twice. Once, I offered the thief money + not ratting on him (the idiot accidentally tweeted from my phone). The second time, I cornered the guy in the house (probably his friend's), but the cop that arrived at the scene didn't want to knock on the door until my phone moved again and the signal…
Yup. Even had bands like Disturbed and whatnot say that they see more of the revenue from live shows and merch. purchase at said shows. That's why I usually go see shows of bands I like and try to get a shirt while I'm there (and to have a memorabilia).
"SNITCHES GET STITCHES" ARE RARELY VICIOUS, THEY'RE MOSTLY JUST BITCHES
... awesome
Actually, that'd be more "literally" since you described mostly physical traits.
I echo your statement. End-users don't see the amount of things that goes on behind the scenes before a major electronic product is released. Where I work, people can be working on something that isn't slated to release for 1 to 2 years, and obviously they cannot talk about it before then, so customers don't see how…
I do believe a new iPhone, if announced, would in the next 90 days as opposed to the summer — just like the iPhone 4S was announced about 90 days after last summer's WWDC.
If you're referring to the "Speech" function I just discovered on my MacBook Air yesterday, then I agree. Also, make the singing one that sounds like GLaDOS not sing so it sounds like GLaDOS.
I think he means "more closer to the price of semi-comparable laptops" (e.g. "ultrathins" or whatever they're called).
"Not compatible," or "not offered from Apple on?" It's not offered from Apple on the iPad 2 because then the iPad 3 would lose some clout behind it. Same reason the iPhone 4 (despite being show to be able to run Siri just fine) doesn't have Siri.
Are you making a slight reference to the fact that Chrysler is using some Linux/Unix components in their embedded systems?
Those are great points, and I echo the sentiments on a live weather icon and calendar updates (though I couldn't enunciate properly what I'd like to see done with Calendar). I definitely feel the same way about Siri - I never planned on getting a 4S until my 4 was stolen.
In my defense, I was storing my entire music library on there and running iTunes from it (i.e. it wasn't a backup, it was my main source for music lol). I know, external harddrives should be able to r/w like a normal hard drive, but I don't think that's the case. Now I use my replacement one for backups only and it's…
If you make a MBP, which is becoming thinner and thinner, a touchscreen (which SJ was opposed to, anyway), what incentive would one have to own an iPad?
I've owned the Go series SeaGate external drives for 3 years now and have only had one die. SeaGate replaced it, free of charge. They're great little backup drives.
True on the part of the new iPad being a real "successor" to the iPad 2 - I see it more as a 2S. Honestly though, it seems like the iPad, hardware wise, has more or less plateaued. It's now on the side of iOS to really make it "new," as far as cost-benefit goes.
On the last paragraph, I agree wholeheartedly. It's a bit discouraging to know Apple will probably never allow customizability of iOS on the level of Android, but then again, a solution (Cydia and jailbreaking) exists. I know, "you shouldn't have to jailbreak to customize," but at least there is a solution.
Oops, thanks! Brain fart.
