This is tempting because I've been meaning to find the first text messages my girlfriend and I sent to each other over a year ago, but I'm 1) too lazy to press "Load earlier messages" 689023 times and 2) too lazy to do the digging through the iPhone files and parse them...

I wish they would've done that for my stolen phone when I had it tracked to a location just down the street. Instead, I got an officer who, after being presented the information, did not want to go investigate and instead waited until the signal started moving again and then disappeared to go "drive around and look."
