New Metal Gear game, and hopefully a completely new IP from Kojima. Let Snake rest, he's done his work.

@This.Is.Malcolm: So you're American Dad's viewer? Huh.
@Pete Gaines: I guess nobody told the people at the DR/Panama game about this policy...
@Da_Mang: You are watching the People's Television of Venezuela. This is the -only- channel. And now it's time for the Hugo Chavez Political Round-up!
Taken - worth seeing in theaters? One of my best friends says it is, I haven't seen it yet.
@ChalkdustTorture: Nevermind, should've refreshed..
@Skating Tomato: Well no, not you and me both. It'd be fun for you mostly, seeing other teams burn the Patriots for long TDs just reminds me a) of what the defense used to be and b) that I miss Asante Samuel/Ty Law in his prime.
@Rock You Like An Iracane: So you recovered the iPod? Or never lost it in the first place? Losing stuff on planes/in airports is so aggravating, last time I felt like punching myself in public.
@Skating Tomato: If nothing else, I'm sure you could at least try taking some satisfaction when TO inevitably burns Ellis Hobbs/some 2nd year CB for a TD.
Last time I moved houses I actually managed to pack most of my gaming stuff away, save for the PS2 and maybe 2-3 games. It's kinda hard to just pack it all away unless you have a handheld or laptop you can use anytime. Great thing about a laptop is you don't need to do much work to pick it up and move it, even better…
@Komrade Kayce: Hero of Soviet Kotaku: Yeah you're not the only one who misses his Weekend style but he's apparently a trend setter: [kotaku.com]
@FreakyFavabean: Yeah, I didn't happen to see anyone denying the existence of racism in that post. >.>
Sounds cool.. Just hope it's something new and original, less Star Wars than XII or XIII.
You might say the making of this game was shockingly expensive..
@svenhoek: Roman, is that you?
@TheSarkastikOne: They killed their own series as well!
@ThursdayNext: Exclusive contracts drive quality up as once you've invested that much money in a product you have to ensure that it doesn't suck.
I think I generally agree with his statements. Games can someday be better in storytelling than books and movies, if they aren't already capable of being better than movies. The potential is there because games can be longer, and more involving than either of other two mediums. Yes, even if they use cutscenes.
No surprise at all. Just take a look at Rome or Medieval II, and if you don't expect necessary patches post launch.. well you're beyond help. Hopefully they will fix everything possible before they decide they're done supporting the game.
@2SBs: Moar.
