that theory was never reproduced and was replaced by one that apparently has, that it prevents your “Hyper Armor” from being broken after taking multiple hits.

Supposedly we do actually know what it does now, though the original post was poorly written, but I believe the gist is that it prevents hyper armor from being broken (which makes it not hyper armor) after multiple hits. But there are so many factors to whether or not you get HA or can break it (the post couldn’t get…
Wow, I really can’t imagine why this hardcore raiding mentality is no longer catered to, or games that do (Wildstar) have massive issues, just reading this makes me want to sign up /s.
It’s funny, Im a massive RE fan, I’ve got a PS4, I have the demo downloaded...and yet I have no real drive to play it. It’s not that I’m not happy to see RE take a step back to a more chill pace, I am, its just that while everyone seems to be popping a boner over it’s “return to its horror roots” I want to see it…
I picked up Ark from the steam sale, playing solo and quite enjoying it. although holy bugs batman does it have optimization and glitch issues.
Finishing Blood and wine myself. think I’m just about at the end and its been great. Still kind of sad no more Witcher for a long time, if at all.
Condemned was pretty good. 2 was excellent i think. As for ammo, eh i wouldnt want it TOO scarce or have artifical caps both of which where in evil within and it felt kinda bad. Old REs let you get a damn impressive stockpile going if you were smart and searched everything and i liked that.
Absolutely, going toe to toe with things like Tyrant, Birkin, and Nemesis always felt like amazing moments to cap off the games.
I wonder if that was the plan then someone said “wait guys, lets not 100% rip off PT, only 80%”
as someone a bit cool towards the feel that the reveal put out, I’m very happy and reassured by this. Although even though its not going to be a “gun fest” i hope we still get a nice classic RE spread of weapons(Handgun, Shotgun, and Magnum, maybe even grenade launcher though maybe that might be asking too much) and…
the remasters on PS3 don’t have those. and having farmed for max stats at the monster arean, god damn do I wish they did.
yeah the emulation I played had that option and dear god was it great.
I know what RE was originally supposed to in terms of being fps, it wasn’t a feasible idea then, and I don’t think it’s a good idea now, and No it is not a case of “i don’t recognize survival horror re being back” I know damn well what old RE is and it insults my intelligence that you would suggest just because the…
Well i mean, survival horror as a genre isnt black and white, it has many shades. Even old school RE was considered on the more actiony side compared to say silent hill. Liking what PT for what it meant for SH, but not what PT-like means for RE doesnt strike me as people never being satisfied, just means they expect…
Yes that is what they’ve begged for, its what ive begged for, but i want a good balance. Like i referenced, even the cherished old RE had action. 2 had huge groups of zombies and Mr. X go Kool-aid man on your ass (in and out of the same room no less). My initial impression was they majorly over corrected. But…
No i dont know about any “Kitchen” VR thing...that before kitchen line actually referenced something?
Option C: none of the above. I really hate modern amnesia/PT/Outlast style horror games (PT only gets a pass because it was short and revealed silent hill)
I definitely liked it when i saw the NA version. Then i saw the JP and realized how amazingly well it worked.
Well the fact that its “new PT” is kind of the issue. For one, its kind of obvious thats probably exactly where they got the idea and with SH and RE being the two big competitors of the old survival horror scene, it comes off a tiny bit copy cat-ish.
From what i caught in The e3 presentation, im not seeing a system designed for big ass brawls with kratos racking up hundred hit combos...which is kind of a big part of why I liked god of war.
