Yeah, that would be a cool project. I would probably go for a strong belt-line stripe, possibly in reflective material, with the word "POLICE" (or sheriff or whatever) incorporated into the line and a big logo the front door. Possibly with white above the line and black below. For the cops, I think conservative is

I generally like two-tone color schemes, but this is not super good. I wonder if it would work better with the colors reversed, black over OD? Maybe not.

Sheriff Knievel?

So, can you fit through this little window?

Lot #197: 1985 Chevrolet Camaro "Captain America"

I remembered seeing these in Europe when I went in '90 so I wasn't surprised when c30's showed up here. I just thought, "Hey, Volvo has a new thing like that other thing that I saw back when!"

Neutral: Can You Have High Tech And High Performance? Will the STI replace the Corvette Z06?

Yeah, I was going to pop in here to post about all kinds of cars I didn't know about only to discover that I couldn't because I didn't know about them. Then I went and found out about some cars and couldn't post them either because I know they exist now.

It tried to be a tall Miata, but in taking the U out of an SUV and not adding enough S to make it worth while they were left with a pretty pathetic V.

Trafalgar backwards is raglafart. Just thought I'd say that.

Open all the windows first.

Alternative post: Duh, the fasteners are always under the hood. They put the sloweners behind the wheels.

Well you sure as hell wouldn't want sloweners, would you?

Ever since ZDX...Acura you are dead to me.

Way too much backwards-cap for me.

I like to think the "The Ultimate Driving Machine" is an adaptable tagline. Given a well-sorted execution, a small electric car can be "The Ultimate Cramped Urban Core With Air Quality Issues Driving Machine."

Roof Robot makes del Sol marginally cooler, but it's still a del Sol. A targa top Prosche will never be uncool not matter how big a pile of hinges and servos you throw on it.

This contraption seems more like the roof-stealing robot because the roof is an actual separate piece that gets grabbed and stowed by the trunk 'bot while the Porsche roof is a giant pile of hidden hinges — no separate pieces.

Agree. Having to manually operate the clutch forces you to pay close attention to what the car is doing.
