In the New Vegas example, I have no problem spending the extra $46 dollars for great DLC so I can enjoy more of one of my favorite games now.
I'd say the Vita needs a little more time before any judgements can be made. Everyone knows a Nintendo handheld is gonna have solid games, it just remains to see if the Vita will be second fiddle as the PSP was.
