the first feminist Iranian vampire Western film in history

In 2010, I had the distinct pleasure of heading to a conference for work in Baltimore with colleagues I couldn't stand. (And blessedly, I no longer work there). My boss made it a point to stress repeatedly that we should find the cheapest hotel rooms possible, so I got my own room at a hotel separate from theirs.

So I live in England, where everything is approximately 1000 years old and haunted up the arse, so I've seen some stuff (weird, unexplainable stuff) but probably the most extended haunting experience of my life was the time I worked in a possessed cinema.

Long-time lurker joined just to post this, because it is the creepiest (real-life) story I've heard. It happened to a friend, and from the way she confessed it to me (not braggy or laughing, just genuinely creeped out) I can vouch that it's true, for what its worth.

The two stories I have to tell are NOT supernatural. However they absolutely terrified my 31 year old bones. So as not to bore, I'll post one at a time. Apologies in advance if you find it boring but that day I saw the inhumanity of nature in the form of my own intended destruction.

That is spooky as hell, but I'm almost more suspicious of the old lady who had apparently been seeing it for several DAYS and didn't call the police. If that were me, I would a, call the police first, and b, NOT KNOCK ON THE DOOR OF A PERSON WHO SEEMINGLY LEFT A DEAD BODY DANGLING IN THE LIVING ROOM FOR DAYS.

My parents just bought a house in Maryland. When they were in the process of buying it, I immediately asked how old the house was and how many previous owners there were, because I am an avid horror fan and I do believe in ghosts. My mother told me that the house is pretty new—only one previous owner, who was selling

I hope you know, I had forgotten this, but your story brought it back...I'm super skeptical, don't believe in ghosties, all that. My Mom did, she was psychic and she hated it (she had stories). I think her saying one day, before I was born, "God, don't ever let me see scary things again" seeped into me, somehow. I

I apologize in advance for being bad at summarizing. The td;dr version is that I lived in an actively haunted apartment and had to go to the spiritual authorities to have an exorcism of the place performed.

I grew up in the mid west my whole life, jumping around from house to house in the same state. For the majority of my childhood, I lived in a small, white house with a green roof. It was old and not in the best condition, but it was the best my parents could do at the time.

I work the graveyard shift at a group home for developmentally disabled adults. Confidentiality is a big concern, so none of the names I'll use are real.

I'm going to share!

Okay here's one. I don't know why I find it so creepy, but for a while the image gave me the shivers whenever I thought of it.

I was on a camping trip with my dad when I was about 8 or so. We had a campsite pretty far out in the woods, and we had made a campfire that evening in the centre of the site. Then, responsible

My exhusband owned his home when I met him. He had bought it in foreclosure and had divorced his first wife while living there. (this will be relevant later). I became pregnant soon after we got married. We had remodeled the entire home, floors, walls even electrical panel, nothing odd had happened. His son from the

Back in 2007, my husband and I were newly-married and moved to the mountains in Southern California. I was pregnant at the time. We found this house that had two levels: we would rent the first floor, and another couple with a baby were already living on the second. The place was in one of the less-sunny areas of

Girl, I'm gonna need to see that photo :)

I was home alone one night while both of my roommates were out. We lived in an old house a few blocks off campus that looked like any one of us could have built with no formal carpentry training. It was a tiny house that looked like it could fall apart at any moment. That night, my doorbell rang and I hesitantly

We moved to Lima a year ago, and were temporarily housed in an apartment there. The apartment was on the 6th floor of the building and took up the entire floor - kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room (with a weird little bar/closet off of it), 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Lima is a foggy, overcast city most of the
