My Zouks crush is problematic for me in that I actually compare real-life men to him.

I am so glad someone else remembers that! I loved it so much I literally bought the tee-shirt back when Gawker had merch.

Are you in West London by any chance? I just had lunch with a friend in Shepherd’s Bush last week and passed two missing cat posters. It is very distressing aaaaand this person is going to progress to people.

I went to Vassar, over ten years ago, and there were cookies you could buy in the Main canteen (a sort of grill separate from the actual cafeteria, and where I basically subsisted on chicken wings by senior year, as I lived in Main).

Some incredibly fucked up combination of both? People are complicated. I think some folks can be both narcissistic, power-driven assholes (because TV and exposure) and also self-hating, self-doubting assholes (because they grew up in an environment in which they were inherently devalued for their gender). And then

I just forced a friend to watch Season 1 this past weekend and then re-watched the whole thing for myself!

Weirdly, I think she has quite a masculine face (don’t get me wrong on this, she is a supermodel for a reason), whereas he is pretty. Also masculine, but very, very pretty.

Was about to post this in the reply. I give Anna +10 for the screengrab at the top.

The distance has been growing between us for years. It’s a marriage in name only. Also, we never have sex, nope.

Do you think she’s aware that calling herself ‘couzounian’ is not helping matters? CUZ COOZE.

Oh.

For medical emergencies, I need shirtless Kiwi rugby players, stat. Or The Rock holding a small animal.

I think they finally realized they have masc/fem versions of the same face and Things Got Too Weird.

Goddammit, I just got home from work and am trying to relax, and Asshole Egbert’s dumb face just made my blood pressure shoot up. Thanks for nothing.

Just FYI, I replied to you yesterday saying ‘that statement was heartless,’ and I was referring to the sheriff’s comments, not yours. I replied to your comment because I was also thinking about the sons. A couple of responses I got made me realize this morning that the way I replied sounded like I was criticizing you

OMG, I was so confused by this response (and one other similar) - I was agreeing with VonQueso, I meant that the sheriff’s statement was callous and heartless, not hers. I just read up and can completely see how unclear I was! My fault entirely, eek. Thank you for pointing it out to me.

This would be a callous and horrendous statement at any time, but making it in reference to a woman who was beaten to death in front of her children is... Wow.

Noted, and thank you!!! I will definitely give it a try. It also sounds like it would have the added bonus of my bits smelling like a bakery.
