I agree with ALL YOUR POINTS. This was basically a summary of my entire thought process. But to reiterate:

The burning tire method ('necklacing') is also unbelievably brutal. Shooting her in the head or even slitting her throat (hard to type, but yes), would have been much more efficient and cleaner. This would have been a very public spectacle, and likely taken her some time to die.
