This is horrible, and what I am going to say is in TERRIBLY BAD TASTE, but in terms of drama, Isadora Duncan sets the standard.

Is this a good time to ask if anyone else read Cartwheel by Jennifer DuBois? Can we talk about it???

I like this analogy a lot. Chivalry, traditionally, is more like a system of belittlement and entitlement. It's not nice for anyone. Mutual, humanized, respect and awareness, however, is for everybody!

Yeah, it's awesome exposure, and certainly praise-worthy. The big thing for me is how many of these models are going to continually get work with Barneys? Yes, let's all make a big to-do and celebrate, but once the SHOCKING! attention dies down, are they just consigned to the scrap heap of publicity stunts?

No short-shaming, please! A fedora is a choice, as is a beater, but being short is not.

Likewise, and it doesn't make me feel good. I'm not a survivor or family member or friend of anyone injured/killed, or even a Bostonian, so will leave the complex emotional reactions to those actually affected, whose opinions are actually relevant.

Where in Texas is she from? I'm not pinpointing the accent. Midlands?

Love the photos (not sexxxy, just stunning!), LOVE the choice of model, not personally familiar with the products, but they look practical and well-made...

While I agree (truly, I do), I also think, can we just fucking abolish cheerleaders-as-we-know-them from professional sports, PLEASE? Nitpicking about the particulars matters, of course, because there are people doing these jobs and being mistreated and underpaid, and that deserves attention. But it's also such a

I am completely on board - she did that whole 'high heels deformed my feet' statement.

I live in London. I've been to Boujis and Mahiki. My new goal in life is to strap-on my glamwear, start attending regularly, and somehow seduce Hot Ginge into coming back to mine. I'll offer him some wine, light some candles, and lead him into my bedroom, where I will peel back my bedspread and reveal...

I would love to know what Amber and Johnny have so in common. Seriously. I like her from the little I know about her and the few things I have seen her in. And it is a seriously weird celebrity-cog-diss to think, 'relatively unknown actress could do better than Johnny Depp!'

The first shot is kind of hot (although I completely thought that was his arm, and he was pleasuring her - that would have been hotter).

YESSSSSSSSSS. I return to this scene in my mind regularly, and this is the perfect gif. Fortunately, I am not psychotic, and am anti-violence, and all that good shit.

Thank you for the reply. I was interested in your whole comment, but you lost me a bit in your last sentence. The only thing he is releasing is gas, at the moment, and he is entirely hung up on and sorry for himself for the fact that he didn't bang girls in high school. Maybe I should suggest that he re-reads the

Grazie! The website is a bit overwhelming, on first glance, but I'll try to parse. :)

Thank you for the response. I will try to approach it with an open mind! I expect that the basic principles would resonate. Applicability will probably be the bigger question.

Whilst realizing I will probably have to give the book a shot to judge for myself (sigh), I very much appreciate the perspective!

This sounds like the book my boyfriend has been pressing on me since we started dating (The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle).
