If it's a thing this is the first time I'm hearing about it!

But wait! If you drink all the wine, how will you know which glasses belong to which person? This could get confusing even if you weren't drunk.
...Shoes?
After watching the video I still don't understand why one would want to fold one's breasts in half (also, I don't think mine could do that). Presumably this would make more sense if I spoke Swedish?
I used to assume they covered this stuff for pure schadenfreude, but apparently some commenters actually like some of these people? Not sure why, since they all seem pretty awful.
So what if it's revealing? Exposed cleavage is not a threat to national security, and it's not going to make the plane crash. Were you thinking she was going to try to take over the plane with her cleavage? If not I'm not seeing the problem.
I had this mental image of someone folding a tshirt, or a sheet, and now I'm making confused face trying to figure out how one would do that to a breast.
WTF is breast folding? How does one fold a breast, exactly? Any Swedish Jezzies know what she meant?
There's a dude upthread banging on about how you see society just doesn't talk about rape enough and this could help, and he's still doing it after being told multiple times that no, speaking from the point of view of the usual targets of rape culture, this does not help. It takes a special kind of sexist dumbassery…
There does seem to be a geographic component to this, actually. I know lots of privileged white girls (I went to a very snooty British boarding school also attended by members of the British royal family), and none of them are anything like the characters on Girls. I can't even muster up enough interest in them to…
Once again - the group of people most likely to be victims (and on a board this big, that includes many actual victims) are telling you very clearly that they do not agree with you about how rape should be depicted in entertainment media, and its use as a plot device. Why aren't you listening?
They're not that interesting, trust me. Picture 100 people all making exactly the same stupid argument in increasingly hysterical tones.
" If it ain't going in to or coming out of a vagina, it's not part of a female character background."
More like the winner ends up in the ER getting their stomach pumped.
This supports my theory that gamer culture not only isn't getting better, it's actually getting worse. It's very much like what's happening with manga and anime otaku - the more the market caters to the worst of the fanboys, the more they drive off people who might complain, and the more exteme and messed up the next…
This is something that various UN agencies have been saying for years. If you empower women, they use that power to help society as a whole, especially children. It's a clear pattern that repeats itself all over the world.
Actually I think the difference there may simply be economic. Saudi has (good) nationalized healthcare, and that alone makes a huge difference in women's lives.
It's particularly odd because the whole point of having a celebrity on the cover is to boost sales. Given that, it would be helpful if potential readers could recognise the celebrity in question.
I know that Ann Romney wants to present herself as the anti Michelle Obama, but I'm not sure that countering Michelle's sense of style by dressing like you were attacked by a bunch of quilters is the best way to go about it.
Aw, you're no fun at all. I think this is cute. It's the first A&F related thing I've ever seen that hasn't made me vaguely irritated, maybe because the guys actually look like they're having fun for once.
