Steve was phenomenal at his job and contributed actual insight to the races, I’ll certainly miss him on race days.

This has been said before, but it’s important to note again: he knew how much he was loved and respected. All too often we wax poetic after the person is gone. While that will (rightfully) continue here, he went to his grave fully aware of the support he had, and how much he was loved.

Baseball games that last thing long are my favorite. I hate baseball games that don't involve my team, until they become this. Then they're the best thing ever.

I hate the Yankees and the Red Sox but I love this game. I hope it never ends.
