Wow. Deleting the majority of reader comments on a “Jalopnik” article doesn’t look good at all. Bad optics on this one.

“Nguyen was allowed by Judge Elisha Fink of the Washtenaw County 14-A District Court to post a $10,000 bail for his release, a decision harshly criticized by county prosecutor Eli Savit.”
Is it needed to keep the lights on? The actual ads are more numerous and intrusive than they’ve ever been. This just reeks of herbs gotta herb. They could have actually just had this freelance writer review the car rather than having her write some spon that was no doubt revised by 14 different marketing departments.
I paid more for a S5 Sportback than a S4 would cost. It looks better. I love the hatchback. And it’ll retain more value so the net increase by the time I sell won’t be very big.
Holy fuck did y’all delete all the negative comments on this? Very bold to fuck with your own readers like that.
If you don’t really need a full height back seat, and like 4 doors, these are great. They look good too. Had I been planning on having a kid when I bought my 4 series coupe, and had it been available with a manual, I’d have a 4 GC now.
“The Land Cruiser rides on a new platform called GA-F.”
Doyle is an ass, and you’re right in what you say about him, but the previous poster is correct about how poorly this article is written, in its unexplained references to the guy (I only knew he’s the G&M’s crappy TV hack because I’m Canadian) and to the frequently-cited-but-unlinked article that apparently provoked…
Missing are the obvious “my Mercedes/BMW/Audi never gave me issues” people.
Calling bullshit on the Taurus. Three water pumps in a single month. That’s all I need to talk about.
Motorcraft is OEM? More like Motorcrap.
It’s sad she felt the need to publicly flagellate herself because hacks like this author won’t shut the fuck up about it until she does.
I was surprised by the other article and it’s invertebrate analysis of this ‘controversy’; Sam Barsanti is a different story, his idiotic ramblings are just his version of professional blogging. He’s got the editorial talent of a goat.
yepyepyep, I’m sure Sam feels better having gotten his pound of flesh lol
I love how the article tries to insinuate that it was terrible that she took a week to respond to this manufactured controversy. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
the 40 ads per page, the fact i have to reload my browser every slide, and the fact this can easily be compiled into a non slide show are all reasons.
Please start tagging slide shows as such. It warns myself, and everyone else, not to click on this shit.
I think they started building some in the US a few years back. But large companies always find ways to avoid cost and “technically” get around laws, importing and stripping them likely much more economical then setting up a production plant, and someone signed off on the risk management of the government going after…
Fully agree. Turn all the commuter appliances into electric cars, and gas goes down to $1.50 because demand is reduced. 1% of people driving their fun cars 2000 miles a year isn’t going to harm anything a significant amount.
That’s the dream, and I’m convinced that’s why *someone* is trying to buy Lamborghini. The idea that this company that makes less than 10k cars a year is impacting climate change is nonsense.
