I hate everything you just said. I completely respect that you are totally correct, however, the fact that the gov should “force” a recall via the safety board is so absurd.

I’m sorry but is “voluntary recall” not an oxymoron? Like, this is clearly a safety/ design issue that needs to be checked/fixed. Using the word “voluntary” is assinine.
Seems like a comedic entity boilerplate contract. I’d wonder what those at SNL or South Park, hell all of Comedy Central signs. Since everyone sues one another these days. Your firm would know.
100% Agree, but the Tahoe/ Sub was initially what we call an “entry level” utilitarian SUV. GMC followed on par but then went into the next bracket after the 90's. Then we hit the Caddy addition. Its success was based on its size. The trim need was designed to trickle up into GMC and then Caddy. The problem is,…
Can I put myself on said list as well maybe between 1am and 5am?
Saw one (finally!) in person on the street the other day. Its a great looking vehicle but I am curious as to where this will sit in their line up. Do you see this as a replacement for the Evoque, given its size? Are they showcasing future tech across the lineup on said Evoque replacement or is this to stand apart from…
The profile looks pretty cool. The rims, confuse me.
Alex the 1-4am time window couldn’t be more spot-on. I remember one night when I woke up to a “congrats, you won” email. Aggressive at the time but in hindsight I should have owned up and bought that Wagoneer I drunkenly purchased. God knows I could probably get double for it these days.
The Escalade price is crazy if you think about it. Adjusted for inflation that would come out to mid 60's. We’d be lucky to walk out with a well equipped Tahoe for that kind of money today.
RRB is a great time and I highly recommend it to anyone ever in the area. Hope you went up for Pliny the Elder! The food there is pretty good as well. Who knew they could make pizza on the west coast!
Make the windshield on any cycle the eyes? Just like the car, no? I mean.. c’mon.
I never ever condone a brake-check, yet I also do not condone tailgating. Riding someone’s ass that close is a really dumb move, keep a safe following distance and tap the flashers, if they don’t move, wait for safe time to slide over and move along. Whats so hard about that?
I’ve been in love with this car since I was a kid. I’d love to track one down and work on it but honestly, I’m completely terrified to.
Update: Footage of this impressive feat has made it back to corporate and they have decided to no longer honor the car’s warranty due to unreasonable use..
Saw a somewhat restored to “stock” one as I went down the used car rabbit hole a few months ago. I still have nightmares about not bidding on it.
What about the 4.6/4.8 X5? That surely would have fared well, no?
The first Gen Acadia is a fairly decent car. Good acceleration for the size, ample storage, like true open the tailgate and you have room storage ( not like the new Tahoe+ where the 3rd row eats into the cubic measurement). My mom has the Denali trim but frankly, the thing is a GM, parts bin, lemon. Interior trim…
Always interesting to see how stories are reported elsewhere. In northern NJ most, if not all, of the reports cite an incorrect nav path and stupidity in tandem.
Beautiful car. It is a shame a front plate must ruin that grille. I need to move to a new state.
Well, this just threw a stick in the spokes of my “what do I replace my Grand Cherokee with” bicycle. Fak.
