So what you’re saying is I should get rid of my WK2 Grand Cherokee and maybe go buy a CPO Cayenne? Hmm.

And your thoughts on the shifter re-design then...

So, assuming gated shifters for ‘11-’13 were temp with a substantial improvement slated for ‘14+, that gives even more time for R&D. Granted im only a consumer here, but when you shift from D to R or P to R it can be extremely frustrating. Ergonomics are on point but anyone (and im reverencing jeep forums) who says

Have you had the opportunity to drive a 14-15 wk2?

No one here can actually understand the issue until they have driven this jeep for more than a week. It goes well beyond brain-dead drivers who exit their car when it’s not in park. That’s another issue and those people will inevitably come face to face with natural selection.

You can ADD chrome? What is this, 2004? Might as well get a STRUT grille while you’re at it! Ugh. I wish I could delete chrome from my jeep. What a dumb fad.

This is a great write-up. Been a Volvo fan for a while since they were family staples growing up..Scouted the S60R when I was younger because my dad wanted a new car (that I hope would get handed down to me when I could drive), wishful thinking I guess.

We should look past the POS and to service as well. If anything I hope , just maybe, that manufacturers will be more proactive than reactive when it comes to their dealerships’ shops. BMW has been transforming the way they approach the service experience to a point where old beaters and new lease cars almost have the

You really think 50? Wasnt the last one slotted between a limited and an overland? Regardless, Jeep can sell parts bin specials for a fuck-you amount of money any day of the week and us morons keep buying them. I just wish the profits went back into the build quality.

I wish Caddy sent them a new grille with the updated emblem. OR a grille that is a giant version of the updated emblem.

Wanted the last gen so bad. Ended up getting a 2014 overland. I dig those wheels and tires. Maybe thats the next upgrade!

Considering Jeep manages a way to prostitute color changes on the Wrangler, I dont understand how a BBQ couldnt be held and tactics could be exchanged.

No one seems to be acknowledging that in this two-lane stretch there is an on ramp feeding the right lane.

While I wouldn’t call the sprinter “mini” it has really taken a market share. At least in terms of custom use/private car. The fact is that there hasnt been a market defined for one. Of the existing vans, you can trim them out to a solid extent.

I saw an escalade (maybe 5 years old) with a bowtie on the grille a few nights ago. Had emergency lights set back within the grille as well which got me thinking it was confiscated and repurposed. Wish I grabbed a pic. I was legitimately confused.

I feel like that survey is to help figure out whether or not they should continue flights to Maine

Any chance you guys could link an article that elaborates on the plan? Just read one off the Jeep forum from the Detroit News that is quite informative. I know you guys are spark noting for the masses and for general knowledge but it would be nice to see focuses for those interested in certain brands.

I recall seeing this at the NYIAS either last year or the year before. Not only was the paint this awesome flake metallic, but those wheels had a tinted chrome look. Not my favorite car but the juxtaposition was fuego.

My ‘14 GC Overland hasnt had too many problems. I’d likely upgrade to a 17 when that comes out. only problem is that as the models become more expensive, one starts to synonymize the car with service experience and frankly a ton of CJDR dealers aren’t great to deal with once the price point exceeds 40 grand.

My friends family had one of these back in the mid 00's. A lot of fun but it took forever to get that top off. Then no one wanted to store it let alone put it back on. My poor friend bright it on a ski trip in and the back window shattered when packing cause someone didnt pack the skis properly. I think he had to stay
