According to the Associated Press, his ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, said the allegations involved an incident inside his motorhome at a race.

Did someone at least nominate the Cadillac V16? It's one of the few engines that actually was styled. And the LS based 16 in the Sixteen show car ain't bad either.

Chris, a year ago I did a post at TTAC about DeLorean documentaries and mentioned how I was surprised that nobody had made a feature film about JZD. I was later contacted by someone in LA who told me that they were one of three different groups working on DeLorean biopic projects. Even without the cocaine charges and

Labor unions, particularly public employee unions, are among the biggest campaign donors. SEIU and AFSCME have way more influence on the system than people like the Koch brothers. Hell, the people who staff the IRS use their power to suppress their political opponents. Besides your mail carrier, when was the last

James, you said you hope to drive it from NY to Daytona. How are you going to register it for the road here in the States? What will the SCG003's legal status vis a vis Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards?

Great story, though while in England they may drive McLaren M1Bs at events, in the Detroit area, they drive them to events. Check out the license plate, it's street legal. It's the first M1B that raced and the first McLaren with a Chevy engine, raced by McLaren himself, Phil Hill and Chris Amon, taking 3rd in the 1966

Mrs. de Nysschen, Anna, is from the Detroit area. I'm sure that whatever objections her husband has to living near the Motor City have been exaggerated. If you were the spouse of the head of Cadillac, where do you think you'd have more status, in Manhattan or in Michigan?

It's a shame that it doesn't give credit to Eaton executive William Carey, who championed the

Exceedingly and excessive are not the same thing. One means that he has more than others. The other means that he has more than he deserves/needs. Without his "excessive" wealth, Morgan wouldn't have built this fabulous car.

What's the name of that shop in Dayton?

Under what statutory authority does the FAA have the power to tell owners of private hangers what they can store on their property?

Lee Oskar is a great harmonica player.

Nice video but why on earth did they use the Elan +2 for a comparison? The Miata was styled after the Elan roadster, not the +2 (which I've always thought looked kinda funny). The green car below is a Series 1 Elan, the red & white car is a Series 3 Elan.

The first rule of racing is that you don't walk on a hot racetrack. I'm sure there will be an investigation and most likely some kind of grand jury proceeding but ultimately what set this tragedy in motion was Kevin Ward being someplace where he shouldn't have been. Condolences to his family. People do dumb, rash

I'm sure that you've never made a spelling error or typo, have you? I just did a story that involved GM research published by the SAE and there was a spelling error in the study's title that I hadn't even noticed which a reader pointed out.
