The decision is the “will of the American people.”

You can’t really go wrong with a montage of Jessica drinking, being surly, and roughing people up, accompanied by a Heart song. Not sure what this season in all about, but I’m in.

I don’t understand why women have to have reasons, or worse, GIVE reasons for why they wear things.

“Polyester” is an entire class of fibers. The ones in the 1970s tended to result in stiff and unbreathable clothing, but some of the modern ones spun with very small diameter fibers (“microfibers”, under one denier) are what’s woven into “performance wear”— cloth that wicks away perspiration like silk, but far cheaper

“This code must be at least 4 numbers (AND NOT ‘1488').” This is a joke about white supremacist numerology: 14, for the “14 Words” slogan (“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”); and 88 for “Heil Hitler” (H is the eighth letter of the alphabet).”

Your personal preference for Miller’s Crossing doesn’t mean The Usual Suspects is less famous.

Miller’s Crossing might be the better movie (although that’s a subjective measurement) but quality and fame are not synonymous. The Usual Suspects is inarguably a much better-known film amongst general audiences.

Gabriel Byrne isn’t in After Hours.

If we’re talking about recent Disney releases, Moana is the far superior movie.

_Where_ has Sayles been lately? Always loved his work... And MATEWAN was a terrific movie as well...

Lone Star is a brilliant film and so extraordinarily relevant today. You could release it now with all the racist politicians obsessed with the border. Sayles’ best film ever.

I think that’s the problem; Jack’s kind of...experienced... and demanding/bossy. Coming from the child-like Leo, it worked OK. Coming from slightly scarier McC, it would have been kind of creepy, considering Kate’s age both in the movie and real life.

Good news...it gets easier as you get older and Princess Diana’s dress fades in the memory. I tried on a gown and it made me nervous, so I found a two-piece number that was flattering but didn’t make me look like I was trying to be Cinderella.

@Spikette: The separation of church and state prevents the government from establishing religion, i.e., they can't force someone to pray. It does not in any way prevent an individual from finding a quiet place to pray alone for 10 minutes. In the case of sports, it's hardly longer than a long bathroom break and should
