You forgot the hit that gave all of us a ladyboner for George Michael!
I wish I had worded my OP differently: The COPS felt she didn’t fight the Oregon players strenuously enough to make a rape charge stick. If you read the police report, it is really clear that any man with a moral compass would have realized she was not a willing participant.
Yeah, my reaction was similar. I was also depressed by how closely it followed the pattern of the incident two years ago where three members of the Oregon basketball team had sex with a freshman who very obviously did not give enthusiastic consent. Like the Minnesota case, she didn’t fight them strenuously enough for…
Wow. Wow. Wow.
In an academic setting, a problem can be something you question and analyze, rather than a negative situation to be eliminated. Like, in Bertrand Russell’s “The Problems of Philosophy.” Russell doesn’t say philosophy is a terrible thing, he examines what classical philosophy is and what it tries to do.
As long as it pisses Trump off, I’m down with it.
This motherfucking guy.
I think your friend’s data is out of date. Since the 1991 Oakland Hills fire (25 dead, almost 3,000 homes destroyed) the official emphasis has been on eradicating eucalyptus, not planting them. They aren’t really fire-resistant at all, especially compared with native trees.
There has to be a better solution to fixing outdated, stereotyped characters than making them white.
Brooklyn Park/Brooklyn Center take yer pick.
I think I was in Brooklyn Center, actually.
I thought you meant Brooklyn, Minnesota, for a second. (Suburb of the Twin Cities; I stayed in a hotel there once.)
I care about Tobey and Demi much more after seeing the alternatives are a post about Trump’s evolving views on climate change and a post about Netanyahu’s boner over Trump’s promise to scuttle the Iran treaty.
“No, she didn’t dump me. Are you kidding? I totally dumped her first!”
I am not anti-gun, per se. My country cousins hunt and I have done a (very) little target shooting.
This is me and Lovecraft, which is why I am such a huge fan of Ruhanna Emrys’ “The Litany of Earth,” a story told from the point of view of a former resident of Innsmouth. I believe you can still read it free on the Tor website.
My friend who is a Cavalry vet is so very excited about this.
I am judging the daughter a little. Well, OK: a lot.
