Yeah, I was getting excited to see Gaffgarion use his Shadowblade attack thing, and like, the sound effect was over well before the animation was. Everything is like this, spell and item-wise. I'm disappointed and don't know if I want to continue playing it. :\

I really wanted to be excited for the new SSX, but every game after 3 has brought be nothing but disappointment. And reading online, many others are saying this one's not great either.

Absolutely we should. The internet didn't start out like that; I remember being taught "netiquette" back in like, 7th grade? 8th? One of those. I don't know how or when the internet devolved into what it is today (on a social level), but I do believe that we do need to push for etiquette online. However, I also

Damn. It's annoying as piss. Is Tactics Ogre like that as well? I was thinking about scooping it as well.

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. It's a tie between the Sea-only battle with Eagle and Hawke. It's completely pre-deployed units, and Hawke's got like, eight minicannons and that supercannon. It was great. The other tie is the one where you have to resuce Sami, also in the Green Earth campaign.

Picked up FF Tactics on the PSP (digital download to my Vita), and I've got a question for everyone: Is it just me, or do the spells lag the system real bad? I notice a terrible visual slowdown anytime anyone casts anything or uses any item. Was it like that on the PSP initially?

I will never forget the disappointment I felt when Chrono Chross was released. I got it on day one, was wowed by the visuals and music, but everything else was completely lackluster. The combat was slow and boring. The element system thing they had made very little sense. Then, they tried to cash in on the Suikoden

I completely forgot about that! I would love to see it as well. Probably gonna go home and hook up the 64 and play some now. :D

I was always under the impression that Link to the Past would look amazing if given the looks and graphics of Four Swords Adventures for the 'Cube.

I thought I read somewhere they're bringing it to the PS3 as well, for "transfarring?"

Birth By Sleep in HD on console would be absolutely amazing. I don't think it's possible for me to agree with this more.

I generally use "Sama." Carl-sama was a nickname given to me years ago by a friend of mine who died a few weeks later. At first, I wasn't going to do it, because seriously who goes around calling themselves "name-sama?" Seemed too arrogant. Now I use it everywhere I can. I was kind of mad that the PSN wouldn't let me

So, with all the HD ports of old games coming about lately, are there any games/series that you guys want to see? Personally, I'd give a good sum of money for a port of Mischief Makers from the 64. That game is still one of my all time favorite platformers.

I worked at a GameCrazy back when that whole "hot coffee" thing with San Andreas was coming out, and we had quite a few older women come in and chastise us for "peddling smut to kids." I tried to explain to them that it's a -mod- and they didn't have to worry about it, but it was pretty relentless for awhile. I

I can't get it to work, but everyone I hear talk about it is having fun with it.

When? I own Ogre Battle: March of the Black queen on my Super, and it wasn't remotely like Tactics. Is there another game that I'm unaware of?

I'd like to see this study that shows that the only people who eat Oreos/sweets/other junk are fat, unhealthy, lazy people, because I can run another study that shows otherwise.

Am I the only one that misses the old Ogre Battle style of doing things? I was excited when I heard that TO for the PSP was going to be a remake, but they did it just like FF Tactics. I miss assigning a squad, moving around the map in real time, etc. It's why I haven't picked up TO PSP yet.

Is it possible to miss Balthier and Luso? I just got it from the PS shop for my Vita, and am curious. I don't wanna miss Balthier.
