I will say that having the "prince flip" being mapped to the "L" button makes a load of difference. The trackpad on the back gives me difficulty whenever I'm trying to stretch or flatten my Katamari, though. Which is bad, because portions of some of the levels so far make you strech/flatten to get through. The candy

I haven't gotten too far into Katamari yet, but so far the levels are similar, but different. It doesn't suffer from the Beautiful/Forever syndrome, where a lot of the levels are repeats. I plan to sink my teeth into it this weekend, so I'll have a better answer for you after then.

For me, it is a bit of what I grew up with mixed with the controls. When I was a kid, we didn't own a PC that could handle much, but we had a Nintendo. And then a Super. Then a 64, and so on and so forth, so that's what I grew up with as far as learning to play video games. Did I play anything on the PC? sure. My

Got my Vita on Wednesday, with Katamari and Lumines. Spent most of the past couple of days on Lumines, and I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed with the soundtrack. There's just nothing in it that really stands out as the track that "OH YEAH, I really want to get to that one again!" Am I alone on this opinion?

That makes two of us. Work's been kicking my ass, and I've onyl had two days off in the past two weeks, and they're trying to con me out of my overtime pay now.

What time zone are you in? The day's still relatively young here.

Same thing happens all the time to my friend Ho (that's his real last name, we call him that to differentiate him from the other guys we know who share his first name). He usually changes to to some other tag that includes his last name, and waits for them to make him change it again.

I've got Katamari and Lumines, thinking about scooping Hotshots Golf. My ID is Spike_the_Blue.

Fuck those clocks. For real. I don't think I've ever hated a game puzzle as much. The smaller ones aren't bad, but you get to the ones that have like, a full compliment of numbers on it, and it becomes a nightmare. Especially the ones where if you fail, the clock changes completely.

You think "Catacomb Snatch" is bad, in the Japanese Rockman V on the gameboy, the weapon you got from Mercury was called the "Snatch Buster." (Only posted because all the good "Catacomb Snatch" jokes have been made already.)

EARTHBOUND MARATHON IS GO!

I hope so. My first place spot is damn near a tie, but I had to give it to my first non-FF JRPG back on the SNES. I remember when I got it; I had rented it from Blockbuster way too many times. There was a science fair going on, and I won first in district or regional or whatever, on a presentation about which popcorn

If Earthbound counts, Earthbound.

I actually don't find the FF 13 games' battle system to be much different, or faster paced. It's more or less the same; you have no control over your guys, you select actions from a menu, and wait for them to come to pass. The only difference is the order; in the earlier games, you had to wait for the ATB to fill

There's more truth to this than I'd like to admit; I usually get mad at it because I miss out on one of the summons. You know, the one you get on that train sequence if you manage to get through and beat the boss in time. Bahamut Zero maybe?

I'm trying to juggle XIII-2, Skyrim, soon my Vita, and soon Mass Effect 3, and now I want to play FF VII again. THANKS. :|

I had it much better in my childhood, and I can prove it with one word:

Thanks. I took a look at the list they had on the Steam Workshop, and it's quite overwhelming. There seems to be a million mods for everything! @_@

I have the opposite. I haven't enjoyed a TES game, but I love me some Fallout.

I actually recently bought Skyrim on Steam when it was on sale. Haven't played it before. Should I worry about mods already, or should I at least beat the game first? And, if so, which mods should I get?
