Congrats! Our little guy is 9 months tomorrow. And I too chose to bring him home in our Wk2 Grand Cherokee, rather than the Honda Accord.

Any FWD or FWD-biased AWD V6 just screams understeer to me.

Accord Sport is the lightest of this bunch, I believe. Yeah, it has cloth seats and a subpar radio, but those are things that could be easily re-mediated in the aftermarket. I’ve had mine for 18 months and I haven’t changed speakers or added katskin leather. It’s just a fun car to drive.... even with the dreaded CVT.

You’ve got a 2.4L with a Hyundai 6 speed auto... the 2.4L has been around for ages. The 6-speed auto from Hyundai is bulletproof. They also changed the seats in 2014... and a few other things that are supposed to cure a lot of the issues with the 2013s. I think they’ve figured it out.

To be fair... my dealer was pretty good at trying to keep me happy, but in the end, they knew I was frustrated.
