Continue with the lord’s work, please.

Whoops, you’re right – 2003.5 and on all 330i manuals came with a 6-speed. From 1999 until through early 2003 the 5-speed was the highest spec. I have a 2001 330i, and believe me, I wish I could reach for that extra gear lol. Given that the 330i replaced the 328i, 5-speed was definitely the highest spec on that.

Striking how close the specs are to a non-M E46. Leaving out that it’s a 6-speed rather than a 5-speed (only M and ZHP cars got the 6-speed), the HP is about the same, 0-60 is about .5 sec quicker, curb weight a little heavier, obviously same RWD and manual handbrake, etc. If only BMW hadn’t switched to fly-by-wire

Whoops, meant Vader not Vapor. You’re right.

Yeah, these have been good for years, for a wide range of drive heights. I have them in my old E46 330i, but the E36 ones are pretty good, the M3 Vapor seats are excellent, and the new seats in the fake-M generation (M340i etc.) are pretty great too. Never tried the E30 version. Last summer I put about 8000 miles on

That’s a confused way of looking at it. The reason supermarkets are open and Tesla is closed isn’t because California thinks supermarket workers don’t matter. It’s because one group of workers provides an essential product while the other doesn’t. Collectively, we’ve accepted the risk of keeping supermarkets open

Dear Elon: Take a poll of your workers. Figure out how many of them feel safe and comfortable working before the situation has calmed. Better yet, take a poll of your executive board (doubtless working remotely) and ask them if they’re comfortable working on assembly line conditions. Include yourself. And then think

Out of curiosity, are they charging you for the diagnostic/lift fee or are you on that close terms with your indy? Fellow E46 owner and sometimes-sufferer, so always curious about strategies on that. I’m not that talented with my own work so I tend to veer on the indy side unless it’s something clear and simple.

It’s hard to Drive Free when I’m forced to Die crossing the street to the dealership.

Exactly, E46s were the first car I thought of as well. As a general sample size, given the number of clapped-out, ex-petty-drug-dealer 325s with M3 bumpers and an original cooling system–but a brand new Eonon unit–out on the market, their numbers probably have some merit. But when it comes to any even remotely

Is this sarcasm or are you actually serious? First-responders are, in fact, there to maintain the well-being of everybody around, which includes people in violent vehicular accidents caused by fugitives. It’s not “kissing boo-boos” to tend to the bankteller after a bankrobber shoots him.

All over Italy though. Seems to be their go-to local car. The estate’s not bad to drive either. Makes sense that in the UK, with a number of more reliable competitors from similarly imported marques, tougher option.

You’ve led me to what is now easily my favorite manufacturer press photo ever:

Nobody remembers how much it hurt the first time...

I use my blinkers, I swear! I bought it used! It was cheaper than an Accord!

I street park in New York City, which makes me an idiot, but sometimes there are special, fun reminders to make clear exactly how much of an idiot I am. Last summer, I went to go move my car for alternate side and I noticed a collection of flies near by it. That alone didn’t alarm me, which says something about NYC

Where did I say I endorsed this? It’s patently stupid and reckless. My point, directed at his comment, is that it even fails the basic test of the stupid competition, which is to proceed in normal driving conditions.

Driving with artificially low levels of traffic and enforcement thanks to an external plague? Kinda misses the original point of it, whatever you think of that.

Moral values aside, I just think this is cheating, fair and square.

Add this video in! Surveillance footage of the actual crash. Looks like he hit some uneven surface (aka, an NYC street) at a completely inappropriate speed, and then that was it.
