While I completely agree and see it your way the Devil’s Advocate in me has to point out the objective pros to her command:

It’s particularly funny because in Charmed they established that witches were not human, so the lyrics, “I am human and I want to be loved just like everybody else doe,” doesn’t even make sense in the context of the show.

I might argue that The Master from Doctor Who might be the exception to the rule. By being able to completely reinvent every aspect of the character each time The Master stays fresh. I really dig the newest iteration with Missy.

Many villains find power in humilating those who they defeat. Even if he didn’t find Leia attractive, her own revulsion for the situation would have made him feel powerful.

I really wanted to like the OA. Everything about it builds a beautiful narrative that stumbles and smashes it’s face ten feet from the proverbial finish line.

That’s a real shame. As someone without a WiiU but with a 3DS, I would have thrown money at this in an instant if I could upload levels. Alas, I will have to hold on to my money.

Thus far I’ve felt a little underwhelmed. Primarily because of the large quantity of gen 1 ‘mons showing up in my encounters. I expected a completely new roster with only a few repeats but its turning out to be 60/40 not in favor of what I expected.

Just the one woman though. The rest have to watch.

Parallells was a really great movie that begged a continuation, and I couldn’t happier that Gaiman is helping! The movie really reminded me of an edgier Sliders.

I need to watch the finale tonight but I’ve been genuinely unimpressed. What they did with the story really idn’t play up the dread in a way I expected. The slow-burn of the series was just too slow for me. I hstill have hopes for future stories, but hope that they move a little faster.
