The thing that makes a D&D movie difficult is capturing the magic you feel by doing the roleplaying - becoming someone else - seeing or experiencing that transformation. Otherwise its just a generic fantasy movie.

I loved me some Chip’s Challenge. You could really tell that was a game designed by someone who loved their product.

When all Deathstroke did was drive a tank, it really sealed the nail into the “Forcing me to use the Batmobile” coffin. Deathstroke should NEVER EVER be someone who is only fought via proxy.

I was really hoping he’d open the mask and Batman would be like, “Wait. Who are you? Do I know you?” And it just be a really clever and studious thug that Batman had taken down 5 years ago.
